Captain's log, Stardate, well, twenty two days after meeting the Inquisitor.

I recovered from… The flu, which I highly suspect the First Officer engineered to steer the Yamato away from its prime objective… To boldly go where no Rogue Trader has gone before. His way is the old way, but that is not the way of Tokugawa Takezo and that will not be the way of my people.

I quickly noticed there was strong chemistry between me and the Inquisitor… We were connected with an inseparable bond that not even the mightiest Space Marine could tear asunder. I fear the First Officer wishes to see us apart, but he is far from my thoughts.

The Inquisitor begged me to give her safe passage to a Tau occupied area for a diplomatic mission. As a strong man of firm convictions, I knew this would undoubtedly work in the emperor's favour, as well as my own. The officers all agreed that this would be a worthy mission and so the bloated Mori master Navigator set us on a course through the warp. I took my eyes of the bridge for a moment, and as a result we landed in a warp storm. Therein we were plagued by nightmares that shook us to our very core and I confided in the master Navigator that the Emperor had blessed me with the gift of foresight. One of my dreams involved me ripping the First Officer's heart out. I did not share this and I'm not sure if it is a visage from the future or merely my wishful thinking.

As I kept my vigil and inspired the officers from the bridge, we came upon a ship stranded in the warp. Master Helmsman Spires took us closer, at which point the First Officer offered to lead an away team to reclaim the ship. I suspect he wanted to get the glory all for himself, but I found a certain joy in seeing him return injured with the ship under my control.

When we dropped out of the warp we made our way to the diplomatic meeting point where the blue-skinned Tau received us. After a rather unsuccessful debate, we were besieged by the grim Dark Eldar. I rallied the men, defended the Inquisitor and repelled the invaders with their puny crystal-based weapons, easily taking three on at a time by myself without breaking a sweat, although the Master-at-Arms found himself compelled to assist me. No doubt he is trying to redeem himself for lashing out at the troops I brought onboard. At this rate, he will succeed. I'm sure the Inquisitor saw how I was endlessly superior to the First Officer as I carried a wounded soldier on one shoulder and finished off a straggler enemy with my Power Katana. Now we have the Dark Eldar on the run and we have to scurry them off before they further harm our relations with the Tau.

Also, I will have to look into investing in more Hellpistols amongst the officers, they proved to be quite useful. And further more, I'm pretty sure the moment is rapidly approaching when the Inquisitor and myself can not hide our true feelings any longer.
