As some of you may know, I participate in a wh40k RPG game on Thursday nights. At the moment we're playing Rogue Trader, and we're looking to see if a few more folk would be interested in playing so that we have enough numbers.
The games are held in Grant's flat [PM Grant] off Easter road, and Stephen [El Kapitan] is our current GM. If you're interested please PM any of us.

As one of the other players in this game, I'd recommend it to anyone - long running campaign that's been great fun

No, but here is a good a place as any for now, here goes, the 1 minute version,

While fleeing Tau after some, Crew find themselves at a lost planet for thousands of years, there's a daemon, followed by a ship mutiny, a ritual and the whole solar system blows up and ship escape just in time in to the warp.

Back to the Imperium and as a favour to the Imperial Guard, the crew offer to investigate the disappearance of an elite guard company who were seconded by an inquisitor.

They find the inquisitor, and dark elder, but not the guard. There are also echoes here of the planet they thought was blown up earlier and that daemon again.

Then to get on a crusade, they must get retrieve a holy relic, but its on a lava covered planet, that they discover when they get there that is protected by chaos and they need to fight bloodletters, very messy. They get the artefact that has mind altering powers and makes people think they are an ancient saint. There is also a copy of the main characters ship, and they fight each other, cloned ship destroyed.

Artefact taken back to crusade fleet, at the same time as some marines go nuts and entire fleet has an outbreak of mutinies, all a coincidence? Not revealed.

Big fight, mutiny suppressed, but flag ship of fleet blows up in high orbit doing bad things to planets atmosphere. (Its a forge world and when looting the planet, the crew discover the mechanicum knew it was going to happen)

Not to mention killing our own ship...
I should point out that a sense of humour is essential in our games as we spend half our time bickering over whose fault it was that our schemes go awry.

Yep, we usually start play every week at 6.15 and finish around 9.30 (some of us have a way to travel). Grant has room for 6 people total - and we often have had players drop in and out over the last couple of years.
